Pioneers is present on all continents and works among all religions, including: Tribalism, Animism, Secularism, Atheism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, and (Folk) Christianity.
Pioneers has 18 mobilization offices worldwide: Africa, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore, Kenya, South Korea, Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Philippines, 2x United Kingdom (UK), United States (USA).
Currently more than 3200 field workers are sent to 379 field teams in 104 countries working among 297 unreached people groups in 227 languages. Half of our teams work among Islamic peoples. The others are divided over all other religions.
Pioneers International has a high growth rate. We ultimately attribute this growth to God’s sovereign hand leading people to serve through Pioneers among the unreached. We also attribute the growth to our appealing vision and core values: initiating church planting movements among the unreached and doing so with participatory servant leadership and an innovative and flexible approach.
Since the year 2000, the number of missionaries has increased from 800 to over 3200.
